Samsung Galaxy A23, A33, A53 And A73 Will Bring Big Improvements

Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy A series phones will be introduced this year. This means that in 2022 we will see the successors of the Samsung Galaxy A22, A32, A52, A72 and more models.

As expected, successor models will add only 1 to existing names with increasing improvements. This information comes from Twitter messenger @Shadow_Leak and includes detailed specifications for the best of the Galaxy A23, A33, A53 and Galaxy A73 series.

Note that the leak refers to 5G variants of phones, each of which is comparable to its 5G predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G

The biggest improvements in the third generation Galaxy A series phones are their screens. The A23 upgrades the 5G TFT panel to an IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 1080p resolution. The remaining features are almost the same as the Dimensity 700 SoC and the 5000 mAh battery with 15 W fast charging. However, in addition to the main camera, the 8MP sensor will most likely receive an ultra-wide shooter.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G

The A33 gets a larger screen upgrade than the 5G, this time with a 1080p resolution AMOLED panel. The remaining features will remain the same, including a 5000 mAh battery with Dimensity 720 chip, 64 MP four-camera installation and 15 W fast charging.

Although the Galaxy A23 and A33 are 2022 phones, Android 11 will be out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

The Samsung Galaxy A53 will upgrade the 5G Snapdragon 750G SoC to the Quad 1200 and replace the 4500 mAh battery with a 5000 mAh unit. Everything will remain the same, including the 64-megapixel four-camera installation, 25 W fast charging and 120 Hz 1080 p AMOLED panel.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G

The Galaxy A73 will be the only phone on the list with a Qualcomm chipset, especially the Snapdragon 750G. It will also be the first A-Series phone to bring a 108MP camera setup, but the rest of the list is the same. It includes a 120Hz AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and a 5000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A53 and A73, unlike its predecessors, will release Android 12 out of the box.
